Traffic violations occur every minute
Who wants safer streets? — We all do.
Traffic violations occur every minute on our city streets. The police see a small fraction of these violations. When someone drives with excessive speed and causes an accident, people get hurt or property gets destroyed, or a combination of these.
Cutting into traffic, this driver darts in front of our cameras.
Reckless drivers are everywhere and the police can’t spend the time and money to watch traffic when other crimes are more important. Citizens Against Reckless Drivers wants to bring order to the streets and make them safer for the public. They have ways to record reckless drivers in the act of breaking the law. They can deliver this information to the police. By partnering with police, the C.A.R.D. team will make the streets safer. Cities, communities and neighborhoods can utilize their services to make their streets safer and generate revenue.
Out of 100 Cars, How Many Drivers Move in Violation of the Law?
Being conservative, you might propose that 10% of the cars are speeding down a certain street. Traffic studies of one street in Kansas City, Kansas show that 13,000 people travel down a street in a day. If 10% are speeding, that's 1300 cars. The numbers are astounding.
Driver Contributing Circumstances
